Humans of Reykjavík

Armed with a camera and a tripod we hit the streets of Reykjavík and asked people to look into the lens for 10 seconds. The concept of the video is to see a portrait come to life and reveal a persona without the use of words. What makes us human is a question that calls for self-reflection as well as appreciation and acceptance of others. Inspired by the HONY project, Humans of Reykjavik captures portraits of the people who give life, culture and personality to the city. Everyone around us has a unique story to tell. Our aim is to share these stories and the incredible people who give them life.
